Making Family-Friendly Workplaces Workable

The “Making Family-Friendly Workplaces Workable” project was a part of the EaP Civil Society Facility initiative funded by the European Union.

One of the project results was the research titled “Family-Friendly Workplaces: Opportunities in Armenia,” which outlines legislative regulations and non-legal initiatives aimed at fostering family-friendly workplaces in Armenia. The research includes recommendations for legislative and practical reforms targeted at the Government and the National Assembly of Armenia.

Additionally, the project encompassed a study of EU countries’ experiences and visits to NGOs in Prague and Budapest, which have valuable expertise in family-friendly policies and empowering women during and after maternity leave.

As part of this initiative, the “Big Thing” podcast was created, covering topics such as work-life balance, promoting breastfeeding in the workplace, and parents’ labour rights.
