Since August 1st 2024, we have been implementing the “Dignified Motherhood: No to Obstetric Violence” project as part of the “Enhancing Civil Society Development Impact” initiative, carried out by the Eurasia Partnership Foundation with support from the government of Sweden. The project has a duration of six months.

The “Dignified Motherhood: No to Obstetric Violence” program aims to promote the concept of dignified motherhood. It has three objectives:

1. Identify the most prevalent types of obstetric violence and their consequences;
2. Raise women’s awareness about preventing obstetric violence, protecting their reproductive rights, and achieving dignified motherhood;
3. Enhance the knowledge and skills of media representatives and artists regarding issues related to dignified motherhood and obstetric violence, encouraging greater coverage of these topics.

These objectives will be achieved through research on obstetric violence, podcast episodes featuring specialists, officials, and women, as well as a creative and media competition for journalists and artists.
