Cooperation Agreement Between the UNFPA in Armenia and “Point 33” Organization

On September 30, a working meeting took place between representatives of the UN Population Fund’s Armenia Office (UNFPA in Armenia) and the “Point 33” organization, resulting in a cooperation agreement.

During the meeting, Astghik Karapetyan, the head of the “Point 33” organization, presented the “For a Family-Friendly Workplace” program implemented in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Armenia, in particular, the functions of the “Family-Friendly Employer” platform created within the framework of the program, as well as the procedure for awarding the corresponding badge to employers.

In response, Lusine Sargsyan, the head of the UN Population Fund’s Armenia Office, expressed their agreement to become the advocacy partner of the project.

Lusine Sargsyan noted that the Foundation also implements programs in this field and is ready to provide its toolkit and informational materials to improve the “Family-Friendly Employer” platform and the procedure for awarding the badge.

The parties also discussed opportunities and prospects for further cooperation, including the implementation of joint projects.
